About Us
Action for Care is a private company providing high quality accommodation and personal care for individuals who have a learning disability with additional complex needs including autism, ASD, challenging behaviour, epilepsy, communication difficulties and mental health support.
Our residential care services are currently provided within the West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire regions. Our service users live in spacious modern houses accommodating between 6 and 8 individuals with 24 hour support.

We provide similar services for this client group through Fourcare Plus and Ark Specialist Healthcare both in Wakefield. Advent House (Ark) also offers purpose built accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and personal care needs.
Our philosophy is to provide a highly recognised premium care service backed by a professionally run business.
We employ dedicated staff teams and utilise external specialists, consultants and professional services to complement our care provision.
We have an "open door" approach to communication throughout the organisation including at director level to ensure open and transparent communication at all levels in addition to use of recognised policies and procedures regarding reporting, whistleblowing, safeguarding, grievance.

We are enrolled on the Autism Accreditation Programme through the National Autistic Society and are actively working towards accreditation.
